The Bishop of Hawai’i, the Rt. Rev. Robert Fitzpatrick has released the following statement concerning former presiding bishop the Most Rev. Edmond Browning.

The prayers of the Diocese are requested for Bishop Edmond Browning, the former Presiding Bishop and the second Bishop Diocesan of Hawai’i. Bishop Browning’s health has taken a turn for the worse, and he and Mrs. Browning are facing difficult days in the immediate future. Please pray for strength and courage for the Brownings as well as those who are care for them at this time.
